Host City
Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire
Akwaba — Welcome

Why Abidjan
Abidjan is West Africa's cultural and economic crossroads — a city where Francophone, Anglophone, and Pan-African intellectual currents meet, where scholars from across the continent and its diaspora gather, and where the languages, arts, and traditions of dozens of peoples live side by side. Hosting the XIX WCCES World Congress here places the global comparative education community in conversation with the very landscapes that gave the world Sankofa and uBuntu's kindred wisdom traditions.
Venue
Université Félix Houphouët-Boigny
Côte d'Ivoire's flagship public university and the intellectual home of the Congress.
To be announced
The official Congress hotel and room block will be published alongside registration in February 2027.
